The main teacher on the course will be Julie Garrioch

Julie is a 500ERYT Seasonal Yoga teacher, aerial yoga teacher and pilates instructor with 20 years experience working in the fitness industry. Julie is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience with others to enhance their wellbeing and now training others to share the love of yoga.

The course will run from September to August at Julie's new studio - Aerial Roots Yoga & Pilates, F4, Elmbank Mill, The Charrier, Menstrie FK11 7BU.

Well its been just over a year since I graduated from "SYTT London 2012", where does the time go?

I am grateful and thankful each day for you all and I have so many great memories from the course,

The knowledge and guidance you all shared anchors me in my teaching and continued study & self practice.

Running two beginners classes each week, I find is lots of fun and a wonderful part of my continued learning.

I am humbled by the enthusiasm and commitment of the students and learn from each class I guide, it is so truly wonderful to observe their changes.

The students love the seasonal aspects of the classes and are taking yoga off their mat into their day, particularly using their breath awareness :-)

My first yoga class was in September 2002 after I had completed 6 months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy for breast cancer.

Thanks to Julie Hanson and her team of teachers I have been practising yoga for over 10 years. I am a cancer survivor!

For me going to Chi & Co for seasonal flow yoga is 60 minutes of practice, then moving on to Moira Jane’s for ‘after class socializing’ – coffee/tea/soya hot chocolate/orange juice/cold water etc. etc. and catching up with news of fellow yogis. This gives me the ‘feel good’ factor. Then about 45 minutes later, we all go to do our own daily chores – filled with ‘good energies’, till we meet each other again for the next yoga class!

If I can score practising yoga for my well-being I’m definitely giving it a BIG 10!
