- How long is the course?
12 modules ( weekends ) one weekend every 4 weeks usually. Glasgow, Liverpool & Germany are Friday evening and all day Saturday. London, Saturday 12 – 7, Sunday 8 – 4.30, Finland 8 sets of 3 days in season.
- How much is the course? Do I have to pay up front?
You can pay monthly, with a deposit to secure your place, full details on application.
- Is the course certified?
Yes. we are certified by the yogaalliance.org – which is the international yoga alliance. This will leave you qualified to teach any where in the world. 200RYT qualification on successful completion of the 200 hour course.
- How easy is it begin teaching right away? Is there support to get classes started?
We make it easy for you, because we get you to teach friends family for the last 6 months of the course, we help you through all of the things that come up during that learning process, so at the end of the course you have already been teaching and even the most concerned students find their teaching voice this way !
- Am i good enough ?
Everyone who applies to our teacher training asks this in some way. We believe that if you have a yoga practice of some description, you are good enough. its not about being able to stand on one arm or perform circus acts, Everyone is at a different place in their practice when they join us and we can guarantee that you will improve your practice with us during the year.
- What happens if i miss a weekend ?
You have to attend all modules, we either get you to attend one of the other venues, or re sit the module next year. Usually our student go to one of our other venues and enjoy meeting other trainee students. it happens quite a lot!
- Do i have to attend every weekend ?
yes you do, but we always have a few people who have to find options, we help you with this.
- Will i be qualified to teach you at the end of the course?
Yes. You will be a 200 hour registered Seasonal Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance..
- Can i attend the course just to deepen my studies, even if i don’t want to teach ?
Yes, we often have students just wanting to come for a personal development year. You just don’t sit the exam and complete the final assessments.
- How long do you have to have been practicing yoga ?
As long as you have a yoga practice and are committed to the study and learning we are delighted to have you on our course, you are there to learn, all these points are covered and discussed in the interview process.
