10 Autumn key Points .
The energy is gathering inward -Move with every breath ,breathe with every move. be mindful and slower in your approach to Yoga Classes and in every physical practice
Meditate to create clear thinking, Give and receive. Keep moving in life and avoid too much cold food during the Autumn season.
For yoga teachers -
In class it's about leadership using intuition to find what level your clients are on .Strong , in delivery and encourage inner strength within postures.
Pair poses into open and closing , in and out. Allow the breath to lead the movement
Focus on rib cage area expanding whenever possible ,Be less energetic with delivery to Add a sense of calm to class
The time to teach breath techniques within class, Feature different breath/ pranayama /mediation at the end of each class .
Buy a dry skin body brush its the time to look after skin , keep it moistened massage to increase circulation.dry skin is a sign of autumn imbalance.
Try to get a massage once a month, especially benefical at this time where nature is drying everything out.
Introduce neti pot to your regime, to clean the nasal passages - if you feel the start of a cold or if you have a cold.
Be positive and open it is the time to get things off your chest. Be enthusiastic but in a calm way.
